PR Stands With Israel

Dear Friends

We have arrived in Israel for a trip filled with emotion as we visit our daughter, who is spending a gap year in Israel. Yet, as we disembark the plane and step on Holy soil desecrated through the barbaric terror inflicted upon our Holy brethren, one is faced with the contrasting realities of people going on with daily life, with some visitors milling around, taking in the charm and history of Israel. Simultaneously, brutal but valiant battles are taking place, resulting in the loss of life of our heroes and a lesser-known great number of injured soldiers. We also experienced a siren alert today just as we entered into Tel Aviv.

As an expression of our love and solidarity, tomorrow

• We will be visiting injured soldiers to bring moral support and thank them for their sacrifice.

• We will be paying Shiva calls to mourning families whose children have made the ultimate sacrifice

• and then join the families of those taken hostage in Hostage Square in Tel Aviv.

• We will round it off with a Thursday evening BBQ for hundreds of active soldiers near the Gaza border.

Please participate in this great mitzvah, representing the Jewish Community of Puerto Rico. The total goal of support is $15,000.

Let's stand together and show our unwavering support for Israel's heroes and their families.
